Falling apart
The Challenge
This property was built in 1980 and after years of deferred maintenance, the property needed some serious attention. The HOA was bleeding money, paying tens of thousands on leaking windows, poor siding, and the roof. They made the decision to complete a multi-million dollar capital improvement project to get the property of 5 buildings and 78 units into updated, beautiful condition.
Getting back on track

The HOA Board hired Reconstruction Experts for reconstruction, assisting the selected engineer in developing the budget and constructability of completing a full roof replacement, full siding replacement, balcony repairs and window replacement.
In preconstruction, RE competed a mock-up building, allowing the team to fully review and vet all the complex details that come with a complete property overhaul. As this project was being funded by a special assessment from the community, it was important to have detailed clarity and transparency, and this mock-up allowed us to effectively communicate the full scope of the project while building trust.
Ready for ski season
Final Result
